Eduopus use iCloud to store data on users devices, this requires creating a container on the App Store.

1. Go to your App Store portal، select identifiers from the left panel.

2. Click on the + in the upper:

3. Choose iCloud Container, then press continue.

4. Write a description of this container, no matter what written in. This description to help you later to remember why you created this container.  
5. Write the identifier of this container, the identifier for Eduopus application must be in this format: iCloud.bundle_id.container like iCloud.com.solutionsbricks.eduopus.container
  • Identifier name must start with the word ( iCloud )
  • Followed by ( bundle id ) like ( com.solutionsbricks.eduopus )
  • Followed by the word ( container )

6. Click Continue.
7. Click Register.


Connect iCloud Container with you app

After creating iCloud Container, you need to connect it with your application on the App Store.

First, make sure you have created the application on App Store, illustrated on previous topics of Eduopus Documentation.

1. Go to your App Store portal، select identifiers from the left panel.

2. Select App ID of your application that you previously created in the last section.
3. Go below inside Capabilities, select iCloud => Edit

4. This will open the iCloud Container Assignment, select iCloud container that you have created on the previous section.

5. Then press Continue.
